Five Seminars

In our ministry in Brazil, we recommend that pastors and their groups of 3-6 main leaders participate in the seminars described below in the course of 3-4 years.  Ideally the second, third, and fourth seminars will be experienced first by the pastoral team, and then passed on to all church leaders.  The second one could be worthwhile for the whole church.   Unfortunately, these seminars do not exist in English.  The links will inform you of the basic topics they cover, from which you can possibly develop your own seminar.  You can also find out more information about the seminars by sending us an e-mail

  1. Raising up a Lay Pastoral Team: the launching seminar for pastors and their leaders who want to gain a vision for life as a team, and learn about the initial steps to move in that direction.

  2. Introduction to Spiritual Gifts and Ministry Teams: the launching seminar for a church which wants to walk in the direction of lay people being ministers, getting to know their gifts and callings, and walking in the direction of ministry teams.

  3. Basic Training in Ministry Team Formation: the launching point for leaders and co-leaders of departments or ministry teams to make the transition from departments to teams.

  4. Advanced Training for Ministry Teams: a seminar that could be repeated up to yearly to help ministry teams that have walked together for at least a year to grow in eight characteristics of a high-performance team.

  5. Mature Pastoral Teams: a seminar that helps a pastoral team to grow and prepare to reproduce itself in various ways.

If you want more information about MAPI events in Brazil, see our schedule; for more information in English, send us an e-mail.
