5. Catalyzing a Pastoring of Pastors Movement

“Then I will give you true shepherds who think and feel as I do,
(after my own heart – NIV)
who will lead you with knowledge and understanding” (Jr 3.15)

“You then, my son, be strong in the the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things you have heard me say
in the presence of many witnesses
entrust to reliable men
who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Tm 2:1,2 NIV)

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed,
which a man took and planted in his field.
Though it is the smallest of all your seeds,
yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches…
The kingdom of heaven is like yeast
that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour
until it worked all through the dough.”  (Mt 13.31-33 – NIV)

Our vision is “Every pastor with a Christ-like mentor; every church with healthy leadership.” Only a move of the Holy Spirit will translate this vision into reality across denominations.  We need a movement.
